Xlence Review 2026: An MT4-focused CFD brand whose Friday margin rule matters more than the headline leverage number.
Xlence identifies Tradeco Limited as the operating broker, authorized by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under SD029. Its legal-documents page also names Damadah Holding Limited in Cyprus as a payment facilitator. A Cyprus payment processor is not the customer’s Cyprus-regulated investment firm; readers should identify the Seychelles contracting company in the actual agreement.
The broker’s client agreement is unusually informative about margin changes. Clause 9.2 gives the company discretion to adjust margin and leverage, including an express Friday window from 21:00 to 24:00 in which maximum FX leverage is 1:100. Gold margin may rise by eight times the standard requirement and other non-FX instruments by four times. The more specific published leverage schedule says its period restriction applies to NEW positions only, while the general client agreement separately reserves wider margin-change discretion. They are not the same rule.

How Xlence Works
How Xlence Works
For a trader opening a $100,000 notional EUR/USD position, the difference between 1:500 and 1:100 maximum leverage is $200 versus $1,000 initial required margin. For a NEW position placed during the restricted session, $300 of unused equity may be insufficient at 1:100. The example does not imply existing positions are automatically repriced by the specific Friday rule. This is a margin example, not a forecast of an actual liquidation. The Xlence clause authorizes changes and demands that a trader keep funds available.
A 1.8-pip spread on one standard EUR/USD lot costs roughly $18 at a $10/pip value; 1.2 pips costs about $12. The $6 difference is small compared with three overnight financing entries or a surprise margin increase. A sensible broker comparison models the entire Friday-to-Monday hold, not just a screenshot of a quiet Tuesday spread.
### Friday leverage restrictions: the distinction between new and existing positions
The published Xlence leverage-and-volume schedule is unusually precise about scope. Its discretionary reduction says it **does not affect positions already open** and **only applies to new positions**. Friday 21:00–24:00 platform time and certain important data releases are special periods: the agreement specifies a maximum 1:100 leverage on FX for new positions, while other instrument classes face increased standard margin. A client carrying an existing position should not be told that its required margin necessarily quadruples on Friday; that would contradict the more specific schedule. The client agreement also preserves wider discretion to adjust margin requirements. These are separate clauses with different triggers and must be read together.
Consider someone planning to initiate $120,000 of notional FX exposure during the restriction. A normal 1:200 setting would require roughly $600 of margin; a 1:100 setting requires $1,200. The $600 difference is capital tied up, not a broker fee. If the account holds only $900 of usable equity, the proposed position may no longer be feasible under the Friday rate. The relevant operational test is to inspect **new-order margin** within the live terminal before submission, not to assume an earlier quote remains valid. In the published tables, position-count and net/gross volume caps may also tighten. An EA configured only to respect free margin at the previous ratio can consequently reject orders or change position sizing near those periods.

Xlence Pricing
Xlence Pricing
The key cost components are the price paid crossing the bid/ask spread, financing for each day or multi-day rollover, and any currency conversion in the account. The official agreement allows a change of leverage without customer consent under stated conditions. No single live average spread, actual financing bill or payout processing time was independently measured for this review. Xlence’s marketing material should not be treated as a verified time series of execution.
A practical test is to collect the EUR/USD bid and ask at three fixed sessions, copy MT4 symbol specifications and the long/short swap for the same dates, and compute the complete cost of opening and holding 0.10 lot through Friday. If the strategy cannot tolerate a temporarily increased margin requirement, the nominal spread saving is not meaningful.
### The overlooked carrying cost is execution flexibility
The extra collateral from a time-dependent leverage rule has an opportunity cost even if no explicit fee appears in the tariff. Suppose a trader wants to retain $600 as a liquid drawdown buffer and has $1,500 equity. At a 1:200 setting, a hypothetical $120,000 exposure consumes $600 margin, leaving $900 before unrealized P/L; at 1:100 it consumes $1,200, leaving $300. The second case breaches the trader's own $600 liquidity buffer. The economically relevant consequence may be a smaller trade or no trade, rather than an additional dollar commission. Overnight swaps and the instrument-specific spread remain separate expenses and require live-symbol values.
Xlence's disclosed risk terms should be tested against a time-based order log, not only a marketing spread: note the broker server timestamp, instrument class, whether the position was newly opened or already held, the equity snapshot and the terminal's required margin. Only a like-for-like series could support a claim about average execution costs. No such series was available to this review.

Who Xlence Is Best For
Who Xlence Is Best For
Xlence may appeal to an existing MetaTrader trader who understands offshore CFDs and can leave significant unused margin. It is poorly aligned with a beginner who assumes advertised maximum leverage is permanently available, or with a customer whose main requirement is UK or EU statutory investor protection. The Seychelles FSA license is distinct from a European investment-company authorization.
An account linked to a Cyprus payment facilitator may produce a Cyprus name on a payment communication. That administrative detail does not establish who is liable for execution quality, who holds client balances or where a customer must bring a formal complaint.

Xlence Alternatives
Xlence Alternatives
Compare Xlence against T4Trade and IronFX using the same notional exposure, MT4 symbol, long-versus-short direction and the Friday rollover. Specifically ask how each firm treats leverage at 21:00 Friday server time. The right benchmark is margin sufficiency under the stress case plus total financing, not an unqualified “zero-commission” badge. A broker with a slightly wider spread can be more workable if its margin schedule suits the strategy.
### What a meaningful peer comparison would test
Compare this trading-window rule with a named alternative such as FxPro, focusing on an identical new EUR/USD order placed shortly before the broker's Friday cut-off. Record permitted notional, new-order margin and required free margin, not the maximum leverage written on the home page. For a swing strategy, also compare the contract's swap and gap-execution policies. A broker that advertises more nominal leverage can still be less usable when the planned entry falls inside a restriction window.

Our Verdict
Our Verdict
Xlence earns a qualified 6.1/10 editorial score for publishing a specific, testable weekend leverage rule and providing familiar MT4-oriented CFD access. The same provision can make aggressive leverage unsuitable for a small account. The main missing evidence is an independent series of live spread and withdrawal observations, which this desk review has not conducted.

Xlence FAQ
Is Xlence regulated in Cyprus?
The reviewed Xlence broker identifies Seychelles FSA license SD029 for Tradeco Limited. A separately named Cyprus company facilitates payments; that does not by itself confer CySEC brokerage protection.
What happens to leverage on Fridays?
The official Friday window is 21:00–24:00 with a maximum FX leverage of 1:100 for NEW positions under the published leverage schedule. It expressly says this particular adjustment does not change positions already open. Separate clauses reserve broader authority to adjust margin; do not conflate the two rules.
How much extra margin could I need?
For a NEW hypothetical $100,000 FX position, margin at 1:500 is $200; under the Friday 1:100 new-order rule it is $1,000. The extra $800 is required collateral, not a market loss. The same calculation does not prove an existing open position is subject to that specific restriction.
Does Xlence give me ownership of stock CFDs?
No. An equity CFD is a contractual price exposure; it does not normally confer custody of the underlying shares or shareholder voting rights.
Are 1.2-pip spreads cheaper than 1.8 pips?
At $10 per pip per standard EUR/USD lot, the difference is $6 per completed trade, assuming those effective spreads were actually available. Overnight financing could outweigh it.
What should an MT4 trader check first?
Check MT4 contract size, real bid/ask around the intended session, long and short swap, Friday margin behavior and whether the legal counterparty accepts residents of the trader’s country.
