Overview

INFINOX Review: A Lower Spread Does Not Tell You Which Account Costs Less

INFINOX presents traders with two familiar ways to pay for forex execution. Its STP account builds dealing costs into a wider spread, while ECN advertises narrower prices but adds commission. The global account comparison quotes starting spreads of 0.9 pip on major forex pairs for STP and 0.2 pip for ECN. These are starting figures, not audited average spreads. A useful analysis must answer how much of that nominal 0.7-pip difference survives the commission charge, especially for a trader opening many positions each month.

The brand also operates across several legal entities. The global footer names INFINOX Limited as an investment dealer licensed by Mauritius FSC under GB20025832, INFINOX Global Limited as an Anguilla company registered A000001246, a UAE marketing/introducing company and a Cyprus payments-support company. Separately, a UK business called INFINOX Capital Limited appears on the FCA register under reference 501057. A global client should not import UK supervision into a contract with an Anguilla company, nor treat a Cyprus payment processor as a Cyprus-licensed execution broker. The relevant identity appears in the live application and legal agreement, not just a brand-wide badge.

INFINOX makes this distinction unusually visible on an enrollment screen. Its global registration page says customers routed to the Mauritius firm forfeit certain EU investor protections and explicitly describes INFINOX Global Limited as an unregulated Anguilla company with contractual safeguards. That disclosure is more valuable than a generic claim about world-class regulation because it tells a prospective customer what particular protections may not apply. A named insurance certificate should likewise be read for the company, triggering event, exclusions and limits; a marketing figure is not a universal bank deposit guarantee.

Beyond conventional trading, the ecosystem includes MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and IX Social. MT4/MT5 suit traders who want charting, expert advisers or symbol-specific position controls. IX Social is designed to follow strategy providers and can introduce a performance-fee layer that does not show up in a forex spread comparison. Before choosing a platform, the customer should decide whether they will execute their own orders, mirror another trader or hold CFDs across multiple sessions. These are different workflows with different costs.

INFINOX's published leverage can reach 1:1000, but the dynamic-leverage table makes a large position more margin-intensive as the number of open lots increases. In the FX and metals matrix, the first tier applies to the first 3 lots at 1:1000, the next band uses 1:500 and later bands progressively lower the ratio. It is incorrect to apply 1:1000 mechanically to a ten-lot position just because the account shows that maximum in the marketing panel. Equally, each non-forex asset may have its own baseline lower leverage.

The withdrawal rules provide another concrete research result. The current global FAQ says one withdrawal each month has INFINOX processing costs covered, and additional bank-wire, Skrill or Neteller withdrawals in that month incur $15. An older INFINOX help article has listed $15 for each bank wire without mentioning a free monthly allowance. Both public texts exist. Any customer planning frequent transfers should use the applicable current agreement and method-specific confirmation, not an old snippet or a generalized claim that all payouts are free.

This review uses publicly available official documents and explicit hypothetical math. No INFINOX live positions, deposits, withdrawals or customer-service interactions were independently tested. The conclusion is therefore about product fit, contractual clarity and the cost assumptions a trader can actually verify, not a claim about the firm's live execution or solvency.

How INFINOX Works

Eight Operational Questions to Answer Before Opening an INFINOX Account

First, write down the legal counterparty from the registration flow before entering personal documents or transferring funds. A UK FCA-authorized company, a Mauritius FSC investment dealer and an Anguilla-incorporated global operator are not interchangeable. Check the regulator reference for the exact name and match it to the company stated in your client agreement. If the application routes you to a company different from the one you expected, stop and re-evaluate the protection and complaints framework.

Second, decide which cost structure matches your trade sizes. STP's 0.9-pip starting EUR/USD spread and ECN's 0.2-pip starting spread imply a seven-dollar difference at $10 per pip for one standard lot. The real question is whether the specific ECN commission, counted for both entry and exit, is below that figure. Obtain a written or terminal-level explanation of per-side versus round-turn commission; an account table saying simply 'commission applies' is not sufficient for a high-frequency cost forecast.

Third, verify position sizing with the platform's contract details. For a USD-quoted currency pair, a standard lot often changes about $10 per pip, while a micro lot changes about $0.10 per pip. A planned 40-pip stop can therefore represent approximately $400 loss on one lot or $4 on 0.01 lot before slippage, regardless of displayed maximum leverage. MT4 and MT5 do not convert the stop into a guaranteed exit price during extreme volatility.

Fourth, calculate margin across tiers. INFINOX's published FX table applies 0.1% margin through the first three net open lots and 0.2% to the next exposure band, then 0.5% for the next. Suppose for illustration each EUR/USD standard lot represents $110,000 USD notional. Three lots need about $330 at 1:1000; the next two need about $440 at 1:500; total five-lot requirement is roughly $770. Applying the first-tier leverage to all five would incorrectly produce $550. Exchange rates and exact tier implementation matter, so the terminal's live requirement remains authoritative.

Fifth, do not assume the entire market catalog works in MT4. The current INFINOX account comparison identifies stocks and ETFs as available on MT5 only. Confirm the specific symbol, opening hours, tick size, commission and margin in the correct terminal. Stock CFDs provide derivative price exposure, not the voting or custody rights associated with an owned share.

Sixth, if considering IX Social, record the provider's gross and net return, position size and largest drawdown over a meaningful period. INFINOX advertises that strategy providers can set performance fees up to 50% of followers' profits. A copied strategy showing $400 gross profit could leave only $200 before your own dealing and currency costs if a 50% fee were actually applied. That is an illustrative maximum-fee calculation, not a forecast of returns or an assertion about a particular provider.

Seventh, design withdrawals around the monthly allowance. Under the current FAQ, three $200 withdrawals by wire in one calendar month could trigger $30 in company processing charges on the second and third transfers, plus correspondent-bank costs; consolidating into one $600 withdrawal could avoid those two charges. Before withdrawing from an account carrying open CFDs, recalculate free margin because transferred funds cease supporting open positions.

Eighth, distinguish private insurance from account trading losses. INFINOX's global documents link a $500,000 excess-of-loss insolvency policy to a named group entity with a $20,000 retention and eligibility constraints. A trader cannot use that marketing limit to offset an ordinary $10,000 loss on leveraged positions. Read the insurer document and validate that the insured entity matches the contract.

These checks create a repeatable decision process: entity first, instrument and platform second, real transaction cost third, margin stress fourth, and exit route before funding.

INFINOX Pricing

What a 0.7-Pip INFINOX Spread Advantage Is Worth

The most useful pricing calculation starts with the same instrument and the same order size. On a standard-lot EUR/USD trade, assume one pip is $10. The published starting STP spread of 0.9 pip represents approximately $9 of spread expense for a completed position. The published starting ECN spread of 0.2 pip represents approximately $2 before commission. The apparent ECN saving is $7. If the ECN round-trip commission were $5, the ECN illustration would cost $7 and beat STP by $2. If it were $10, ECN would cost $12 and lose by $3. The break-even total commission is therefore $7 under these narrow assumptions.

A complication is the information quality of INFINOX's published commission table. The newer comparison states 'Commission applies' without a numerical amount. An older official account table says commission 'starting from 7' in USD, EUR, GBP or AUD, but a reader should not assume that wording universally means seven dollars per full round trip for one lot on the current entity. The answer may depend on account currency, platform, trade size and whether charges are posted on entry, exit or both. Presenting a confident all-in ECN price without checking those details would be invented precision.

The account cost model also changes if spreads are not at their minimum. Suppose STP is actually quoted at 1.2 pips and ECN at 0.5 during a session. The same seven-dollar gross advantage remains, but neither real price is equal to the published floor. During rollover, an economic announcement or a thin session, one account's spread may widen differently from the other. The user should export trade histories or a timestamped quote sample instead of relying on a single chart screenshot taken during favorable conditions.

Commission becomes more significant as volume grows. At 20 completed standard-lot equivalent trades each month, a $2 per-trade difference compounds to $40 a month. At 200 trades, that becomes $400. A strategy that earns only a small number of pips per month after transaction costs can therefore change from profitable to unprofitable based on the precise commission convention and actual spread distribution. The calculations are hypothetical and do not claim independently measured INFINOX quotes.

Leverage is not a fee but can create expensive liquidity requirements. The dynamic model gives the first three lots of FX/metal exposure 1:1000 maximum, the next tranche 1:500 and the subsequent tranche 1:200. If a position expands across two bands, the extra margin comes only from the incremental amount that crosses the threshold under the provider's explanation. This differs from simply re-rating every existing lot at the lower ratio. Instruments with a lower base limit use that lower limit, and a broker can have additional special restrictions in abnormal markets.

Payment costs are partly disclosed. The current global FAQ says one withdrawal each month has INFINOX processing costs covered and further monthly wire, Skrill or Neteller withdrawals incur $15. Its older bank-fee article conflicts by describing a $15 fee on each bank withdrawal. There may also be payment intermediaries, conversion charges and compliance delays. With three $100 withdrawals in one month, the newer policy implies $30 company fees, or 10% of the $300 total, before external charges. Moving the same $300 in one request may reduce this specific cost if the current policy applies. These are explanatory calculations, not a test payout.

The service's global FAQ has also published a $50 minimum deposit. That is an entry threshold rather than a spending fee or prudent trading budget. An account funded with only $50 can be exposed to much more than $50 notional value, but a position losing $1 per pip on a 50-pip move can consume the entire deposit before spreads and slippage. Minimum funding tells readers almost nothing about the capital needed for a risk-controlled trading plan.

Holding costs require instrument-level checking as well. FX and CFD overnight swaps may apply to each open trading day, with the usual market-calendar adjustment for weekend carry; swap-free variants can substitute administrative charges or exclude certain products. Compare the full ten-day or thirty-day holding scenario rather than equating a low entry spread with the lowest all-in cost. No verified average rollover series was independently available for this review.

INFINOX Features

MT4, MT5 and IX Social Are Three Different Workflows

MetaTrader 4 is useful for a trader with existing custom indicators, automated scripts and experience configuring expert advisers for retail foreign exchange. The main question is whether the required currency pairs, order types and account settings are actually supported by the particular INFINOX server. A familiar MT4 icon does not establish identical spreads or risk limits across multiple legal companies. Automated strategies also require stable terminal uptime; a mobile application cannot substitute for a persistently running local or hosted EA.

MetaTrader 5 expands the available platform capabilities and, according to INFINOX's account comparison, is required for access to its stock and ETF CFDs. That matters for someone planning to combine EUR/USD positions with single-stock event exposure. A stock CFD is not a share certificate, does not confer ordinary voting rights and can include financing, trading-hour limits and corporate-action adjustments. A broker platform menu should make the difference apparent before a strategy blends instruments.

IX Social adds a layer that neither MT4 nor MT5 imposes on a self-directed user: dependence on a strategy provider's future decisions. INFINOX advertises proportional position copying and the ability to disconnect from a trader, but also allows providers to set performance fees. Copying a historical high-return account transfers neither its risk constraints nor any guarantee of similar entry prices; follower position sizes and execution timestamps can be different. A credible performance comparison uses net returns after fees and maximum drawdown, not a leaderboard rank alone.

The STP and ECN choices are also features rather than simple adjectives. STP makes commission accounting easier by including the dealing charge in a quoted spread; ECN makes the spread smaller but requires an explicit separate commission. A market order still interacts with available liquidity, and a minimum quoted spread is not an execution-quality certificate. A trader with many short-duration positions has different sensitivity to spread width than a trader who keeps one position open for weeks and pays more financing.

The provider advertises numerous CFDs across indices, metals, energy, currencies, cryptocurrencies, futures and share-related products. Those instruments have heterogeneous leverage, contract values and trading calendars. The dynamic-leverage matrix is a particularly useful public feature because it distinguishes margin by net open lots for FX/metals and by notional exposure for some other assets. Assuming that a 1:1000 forex ratio applies to a stock or altcoin is a category error.

The demo facility is advertised for MT4/MT5 and lets a student practice without risking a funded balance. The company's published description has referred to a $100,000 virtual allocation and a 30-day demo period, with conditions for extension. A demo can demonstrate that a strategy can be deployed technically, but it cannot certify that a large order would receive the same fill under market stress or that live withdrawal requests are processed on a fixed schedule.

Finally, the legal documents are themselves product features. The global library offers different client agreements for INFINOX Global Limited and INFINOX Limited, plus insurance and best-execution documents. A customer able to distinguish those files can establish which operating promises are contractual and which are global marketing. The presence of documents is useful; it is not a substitute for checking their applicability, current revision and legal enforceability.

Who INFINOX Is Best For

Who Benefits From INFINOX and Who Should Look Elsewhere?

INFINOX makes the most sense for a trader who already understands the mechanics of FX and CFDs and wants to evaluate two distinct pricing structures on MT4 or MT5. Someone trading major currency pairs frequently can use the simple seven-dollar crossover illustration as a starting point, then replace the hypothetical numbers with the actual spread and round-turn commission from an eligible account. The provider's documents contain enough detail for a meaningful comparison, but not enough to guarantee a lower real trading bill.

A multi-asset discretionary trader may value MT5 access and the broader CFD catalog. Such a user should model overnight financing, symbol-specific margin and market hours, and should keep derivative exposure separate from long-term asset ownership. An investor whose primary goal is to own diversified funds or shares rather than speculate on CFDs may benefit more from a securities broker with custody services, because a CFD does not provide the same legal position.

An established trader seeking to mirror strategy providers may find IX Social useful, provided that gross performance, provider fees and maximum drawdowns are reviewed together. A strategy with a headline positive month may be unattractive after a performance fee and following a large historical drawdown. The provider's ability to change risk or trading style introduces a governance issue that a spreadsheet of previous gains cannot resolve.

INFINOX is less suitable for someone choosing a broker primarily by the most attractive leverage number or an unspecific claim of FCA protection. The global site's separate Anguilla, Mauritius and UK identities mean that account-level legal safeguards can differ materially. A user who legally or personally requires EU investor protections should not regard a globally accessible registration link as proof that those protections apply.

A trader who transfers profits out several times each month has another reason to compare rivals carefully. The newer policy's free first monthly withdrawal is useful; the $15 on some subsequent methods can add measurable friction. Older documentation gives a different impression. If the exact payment route is important to cash flow, obtain it in writing before calculating return on capital.

We would not choose the platform for someone who needs audited evidence of guaranteed strategy profits, protection against normal market losses or zero-cost trading in all sessions. The marketing materials do not establish any of those conditions, and neither an FCA logo belonging to a sister company nor conditional private insolvency insurance supplies them.

INFINOX Alternatives

When FxPro, Pepperstone or a Securities Broker Makes More Sense

FxPro is the natural comparison for a trader deciding between spread-only and commission accounts on familiar platforms. FxPro publicly identifies a Raw+ forex commission of $3.50 per standard lot per side, or $7 per completed lot before the market spread. That explicit round-turn input enables a more reproducible estimate than a price table that only says commission 'starting from 7'. At identical EUR/USD quotes, a customer can compare FxPro Raw+ and INFINOX ECN by totaling both half-trades and the live spread during matched sessions. Platform and legal entity still depend on geography.

Pepperstone is useful where platform choice itself is important, including MetaTrader, cTrader or other integrations offered locally. Its commission accounts should be compared with INFINOX's ECN using the same traded notional and holding time. Do not compare a commission-free spread account to a raw-spread account based on spread alone: the former contains the broker's dealing revenue inside the quoted price, while the latter may charge it as a separate transaction.

A self-directed stock investor should distinguish CFDs on company shares from actual beneficial ownership of shares. For long-term share accumulation or fund investing, a broker such as Interactive Brokers offers a different service category, with custody and exchange access. The relevant costs become dealing commission, custody, FX conversion and tax treatment rather than leverage as high as 1:1000. It would be misleading to rank these unlike products solely by an editor's score out of ten.

A prospective copy trader should compare IX Social not only with rival copy platforms but with simple independent journal-based following in a demo account. A 50% maximum performance fee changes the arithmetic of any gross return. Suppose the gross profit was $500 and the actual provider fee was 30%: the provider takes $150, leaving $350 before follower transaction costs and taxes. This model does not predict actual follower performance; it clarifies what the payment rule does.

The fairest shortlisting method is a table with two distinct columns. One records the actual legal company, regulator entry, insurance conditions and eligible residency. The other records instrument, platform, observed spread, total commission, swap, margin tiers and withdrawal charges. A company should not win because a regulatory credential in the first column belongs to a different entity from the one in the proposed agreement.

Our Verdict

INFINOX Verdict: Platform Breadth With a Real Commission and Entity Test

INFINOX's most substantive appeal is the choice of trading workflows. STP and ECN allow customers to prioritize simple spread accounting or potentially tighter prices. MT4/MT5 accommodate established technical tools, while IX Social provides a separate route to copied trading. The dynamic-leverage schedule is also more informative than a bare maximum leverage claim because it shows how margin requirements evolve as exposure grows.

The central cost question has a precise answer under stated assumptions. With STP starting at 0.9 pip and ECN at 0.2 pip, a standard EUR/USD lot worth $10 per pip yields a $7 spread saving on ECN. ECN beats STP only when the actual commission and other differential costs are below that saving at the quotes that were actually available. An older page mentions a commission 'starting from 7', without settling the current full-transaction basis across all entities. Treating the lower spread as automatic superiority is therefore unjustified.

The equally important legal question concerns the operator. Mauritius FSC license GB20025832 belongs to INFINOX Limited, the Anguilla incorporation to INFINOX Global Limited, and UK FCA reference 501057 to a separate UK company. The global signup itself warns that some protections may be lost depending on the chosen route. Its private insolvency insurance is attached to stated eligibility and retention terms, not a single universal guarantee for every customer under the name INFINOX.

Finally, the site's newer withdrawal page allows one broker-fee-covered withdrawal each month and lists $15 for later selected method requests, while an older help page describes a charge for each bank wire. This is a real documentation discrepancy. It makes a specific pre-funding written quote worthwhile for customers who regularly remit their profits. A cost review that leaves out this difference is incomplete.

Ecom Ratings assigns INFINOX a provisional editorial score of 6.6/10. The product offers concrete value to an experienced trader who checks the exact contract and performs the cost calculation. The score is moderated by unclear ECN commission conventions across public materials, conflicting fee documentation and the need to distinguish related legal entities. No deposits, trades or withdrawal tests were performed by this publication.

Frequently asked questions

INFINOX FAQ

What ECN commission makes INFINOX cheaper than STP on EUR/USD?

At the advertised starting spreads of 0.9 versus 0.2 pip and a hypothetical $10 pip value for one standard EUR/USD lot, the ECN spread saves about $7. The ECN account is cheaper only if the actual full-round-trip commission and differential execution costs are below that $7. Verify whether any quoted commission is per side or round trip, and compare quotes at the same time.

Does an INFINOX global account have the protections of the UK FCA-licensed firm?

Not automatically. INFINOX Capital Limited is a distinct UK FCA firm, while global registration materials also identify Mauritius-licensed INFINOX Limited and Anguilla-incorporated INFINOX Global Limited. The actual company named in the account agreement determines the governing contract and applicable protections. The global registration page expressly warns about loss of some EU protections.

How does INFINOX dynamic leverage affect a five-lot EUR/USD position?

The published forex model uses 1:1000 on the first three lots and 1:500 on the next tier. If each lot were hypothetically worth $110,000, the first three would need about $330 margin and the next two about $440, for approximately $770 in total. The actual margin is affected by exchange rate, exposure calculation, the instrument and live account rules.

Are INFINOX bank-transfer withdrawals free?

The current global withdrawal FAQ says the broker covers processing for one withdrawal per month and charges $15 for subsequent wire, Skrill or Neteller withdrawals that month. An older INFINOX help article has referred to $15 on each wire withdrawal. External bank-routing charges may apply. Confirm the exact current tariff and entity before making repeated requests.

Does $500,000 INFINOX insurance guarantee my account balance or trading losses?

No. The marketing refers to an excess-of-loss private insolvency policy tied to an identified group entity and governed by eligibility, retention and other insurance terms. It does not cover ordinary trading losses and should not be treated as a government deposit-insurance guarantee available to every INFINOX user.

What is the cost of following traders in INFINOX IX Social?

Alongside the normal spreads, commissions and possible financing, a strategy provider may charge a performance fee, advertised as high as 50% of follower profits. For example, a $400 gross trading gain subject to a 30% hypothetical provider fee leaves $280 before any additional trading costs and taxes. Provider drawdown and allocation risk remain the follower's responsibility.
